Imagine finally receiving the keys to your own home after months or even years of homelessness.
Then imagine closing the door and realising you have nobody to call. Nowhere to go. Nobody who would notice if you were struggling.
For many people, that's when the hardest part begins.
The move into a new home can bring overwhelming loneliness, poor mental health and the sudden loss of the support people relied on while they were homeless. Without the right help, people can become isolated, struggle to manage their tenancy and find themselves at risk of homelessness again.
That's why Justlife's Social Connection Project exists.
